Bell times
Our school day follows a clear and consistent timetable, with dedicated times for learning sessions, activities, and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students make the most of every part of the day.
It’s important for students to arrive on time each morning. If your child is running late, please make sure to sign them in at the front office on arrival. If you have any questions or concerns please contact our front office.

Assembly schedule
At Muswellbrook Public School, we hold assemblies every Friday morning. These assemblies alternate weekly between Infants and Primary groups:
- Kindergarten to Year 2: Odd weeks (Weeks 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9)
- Years 3 to 6: Even weeks (Weeks 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10)
Please note that any changes to the assembly schedule will be communicated via School Bytes and our Facebook page.

Getting to and From School Safely
As a parent or carer, ensuring your child’s safe journey to and from school is your responsibility. At Muswellbrook Public School, student safety is our top priority.
Help keep our school community safe by:
- Driving and parking responsibly, even if this means parking a little further away and walking the remainder of the way
- Being a positive role model for safe road and pedestrian behaviours
- Never calling your child to cross the road from across traffic
- Always using designated and safest crossing points
