When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community. Learn about our uniform and where to buy it.

Our school uniform

Muswellbrook Public School has a very strong desire for our school to be a school of excellence, for our children to have pride in attending our schol and the belief that children need to be well-groomed, clean to enable them to have confidence to perform at their best.

Summer Uniform:

Light blue polo shirt with embroidered emblem
Navy shorts/skorts
Navy socks
Navy wide brimmed hat or navy bucket hat (light blue hats in special circumstances)
Black leather shoes or black leather joggers

Winter Uniform (as per summer plus)

Navy track pants or boot leg pants
Navy V-neck sloppy joe with embroidered emblem
Navy taslon school jacket with embroidered emblem
Navy fleece lined jacket

Sports Uniform

Students are advised to wear their sports uniform when advised. Sports uniform includes:

A sport shirt representating their house
Appropriate shoes (joggers)
Navy shorts/skorts

Appearance

All children are expected to:

Be clean and tidy. Children are allowed to bring roll-on deodorant if required. Spray deodorant is banned for safety reasons.
Come to school with clean uniforms, clean hands, clean teeth and combed hair.
Acceptable hair styles - spikes, drealocks and Mohawk hair styles are considered unacceptable
Coloured hair is not permitted
Wear only blue scrunchies or head bands
Not have any body marking, transfer tattoos, texta or glitter (except on special occassions with the permission of the principal)
Wear only natural nail polish and clear lip gel
Wear only studs or sleepers in their ears with no more than two earrings in the lobe of each ear. One being a stud the other a sleeper.
Wear only 'special' jewellery such as medical bracelets. Children wishing to wear such items should discuss their intention with the principal before choosing to wear them.
Body piercing is not permitted to be worn at school or on any school activity

Purchase the uniform

School uniforms are available for purchase through our P&C School Uniform Shop (located on the school grounds) and at Lowes Muswellbrook.

Uniform shop

Please note that the Uniform Shop operates by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please call the school on 6543 2500 and select option 2 for the canteen and uniform shop. You can then speak with Stacey or Megan to book your appointment.

Online Purchasing

School uniforms can be ordered online through Munch Monitor. Orders placed before 9:15 am will be delivered to students’ classrooms on the same day. All other orders will be delivered the following day.

Second Hand Uniforms and Emergency Uniforms

If you are having trouble purchasing uniforms, we have a second hand uniform pool and a number if uniforms for loan from the front office.

Want to donate your old school uniforms?

Our school gladly accepts donations of pre-loved school uniforms. Please ensure all donated items comply with our school uniform policy and feature the official school logo.

Donations can be dropped off at the front office during opening hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
